Manchester Car Park Changes

Manchester Airport’s famous Level 13 of the short stay car park is being changed again. It will now be used to house hire cars, and thus will have the access barriers moved up there, preventing joe public from driving up. It’s very unlikely to affect people spotting on foot on the top level luckily.

American MD-80s Back In Service

After technical problems and FAA inspections which grounded much of the MD-80 fleet of American Airlines, the airline announced that it has now returned the entire fleet to service. So for those heading to the scrapyards, you might be better off heading for Dallas Ft. Worth!

Munich T2 Terrace Not Closed!

Despite reports that were milling around this week about the closure of Munich’s Terminal 2 terrace, I can confirm it is still open.

It seems there was a temporary closure for some repair or building work to go ahead. However, this was quickly resolved and the public allowed back in. The excellent viewing mound is also still open.
