The first aircraft in the Austrian Airlines fleet bearing both the new red-white-red Austrian Airlines livery as well as the Star Alliance lettering entered service on Thursday.
The Embraer featuring the registration number OE-LWH is already the tenth of a total of 17 of this type of aircraft which Austrian Airlines will integrate into its fleet by the end of 2017, thus successively replacing 21 Fokker 70 an 100 jets.
Austrian’s Embraer fleet flies on regional routes throughout Europe from the airline’s Vienna base.
