Unfortunately the opening of the museum has been put back to October 25th due to electricity not being supplied in time.

When did the base get turned over to the civilian side? I was aT the radar site at Hofn. I’ll bet it is gone . I really liked the folks ofMIceland.We has a fellow that worked for me on the site, his first name was Valde. I don’t remember his last name. That was at the 667th AC&W SQ.
