Thanks for sharing the interesting article at Cranky Flier. I agree with Mr. Snyder about the extravagance of the Sacramento airport project and that current trends do not point to an increase in passenger volume in the next few years. I had the distinct impression, however, that he was advocating on behalf of airlines. I don’t believe these people need anymore advocates on this issue – terminal costs are but a minuscule fraction of total operating costs of airlines.

There are not many places to go for myself and my partner on holiday where he can watch the planes and I can do a bit of sunbathing.

If anyone can give me some ideas I would be grateful. We did plan to go to this hotel this year, what a dissapointment.

Excellent guide of books, although it’s difficult to get any on modern day airports as they are all updating so much these day’s. Heathrow with its extra terminal, and Kent International is expanding with new direct routes too, so I personally prefer to stick to magazines

i was at the airport on the 31st June, but no way to have access. It seems they closed because of the security concern with the Expo… ( anyway that’s what they told me )
