The Sheraton Deira in Dubai – perhaps one of the most famous spotting hotels in the world – is under new ownership following its sale to the Marriott company.
The hotel is now known as the Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira.

As one of the best places to spot in Dubai, many enthusiasts have naturally expressed concern that they will lose this useful location. However, it seems that not much will change in terms of the facilities and views on offer, with the rooftop pool area remaining open and all existing reservations made with Sheraton being honoured.
