Luton Airport’s Holiday Inn car park now has barriers in place, so you can’t just come and go as you please. This is a handy spot when spotting at Luton.
From now on you get the first 15 minutes free, then it’s £3 an hour to use it.
It has come to light that a story I reported recently about the Heathrow Visitors Centre car park prices doubling is actually untrue. The report quickly spiralled out of control it seems, and I didn’t help that. So sorry for causing any confusion!
Martin Baird, the Airport Watch Co-ordinator, has confirmed that there are no planned changes in the price of car parking, and enthusiasts are welcome to be there.
Manchester Airport’s famous Level 13 of the short stay car park is being changed again. It will now be used to house hire cars, and thus will have the access barriers moved up there, preventing joe public from driving up. It’s very unlikely to affect people spotting on foot on the top level luckily.
