Air Austral A220 Painted

by Matt Falcus

The first Airbus A220 for Air Austral has been rolled out of the paint shop in Montreal, as seen in this photo released today by Airbus.

The attractive livery features a scene from the airline’s home, Reunion Island, on the tail.

Air Austral has three A220-300s on order, with this first aircraft due to be delivered in February. They are to be used to replace the airline’s older Boeing 737-800s and ATR 72-500 fleets, bringing a touch more modernity to its regional routes.
