Birmingham combines terminals into one

by Matt Falcus

Birmingham Airport (in the UK) has combined its two terminals to become one single terminal which will hopefully improve efficiency and help the airport expand.

The terminal now has a larger security area, and in the future will open a large Duty Free shop.

Originally the second terminal was opened as the ‘Euro Hub’ for British Airways and other commuter airlines’ flights. But recently the situation has changed as the airport constantly evolved. Today it’s all under one roof and the airport hopes to continue growing.
