China Eastern will open 13 new international routes in the first half of 2016.
The airline, which is based in Shanghai, is set to bring forward its planned expansion into new international markets with these new routes, which are:
- Beijing-Bangkok
- Chengdu-Langkawi
- Guangzhou-Laoag
- Hangzhou-Osaka
- Hangzhou-Shizuoka
- Jinan-Seoul
- Ningbo-Phuket
- Shanghai-Amsterdam
- Shanghai-Brisbane
- Shanghai-Chicago
- Shanghai-Prague
- Wenzhou-Rome
- Wenzhou-Bangkok
The airline will use a mixture of narrow and wide body aircraft on these routes.
