Condor Takes Delivery of First A330neo

by Matt Falcus

Germany’s Condor has today taken delivery its first Airbus A330neo aircraft.

Wearing the airline’s striking new livery – in the vertical green stripes version – the aircraft, an A330-943 was delivered from Toulouse to Frankfurt on 20th December.

The A330neo will replace previous generation aircraft in their fleet to reduce Condor’s operating costs as well as fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 25 percent. Condor’s A330neo will offer better passenger comfort and will accommodate 310 passengers, featuring 30 seats in Business, 64 seats in Premium Economy and 216 seats in Economy class.

Condor will also begin taking delivery of brand new Airbus A320neo single-aisle aircraft from an order placed earlier this year.
