Corendon Airlines is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special livery aircraft wearing a unique scheme.
The Dutch leisure airline was founded in 2000 and this year has chosen famed tattoo artist Henk Schiffmacher to give his treatment to one of their Boeing 737 aircraft.

Corendon CEO Gunay Uslu, founder Atilay Uslu, and tattoo legend Henk Schiffmacher.
The scheme sees traditional nautical themed tattoos adorning the aircraft, 737 MAX 9 PH-CDQ, with the familiar red livery on the tail and engines.
Schiffmacher has named the aircraft “Sweet Louise” after his wife, and says the design was inspired by travel:
“Tattoos tell stories, and this one reflects my years of traveling the world and connecting with people from all walks of life.
“It symbolizes movement, connection and the desire to explore. I’m proud that it will now fly across the skies.”
The tattoo scheme was meticulously applied to the aircraft’s fuselage having been scaled up from the drawing board. Now, travellers and aviation enthusiasts will be able to see it flying all over Europe this summer.
