Farnborough Air Show 2022 in Pictures

by Matt Falcus

This week I had the privilege to visit the Farnborough Air Show – the first since 2018, and a return to one of the biggest marketplaces and demonstrations of the current technology in the aviation industry.

As the UK sweated in unprecedented heat, it was certainly a struggle to be outside in the almost-40 degree temperatures with no shade.

However, seeing some amazing aircraft up close, and witnessing the impressive aerial displays of modern airliners like the Airbus A350, Boeing 777X, 737 MAX 10 and Embraer E2 was a real treat.

It was also great to get on board some aircraft, including the Qatar Airways 777-300ER with the new business class cabin, and their Gulfstream 650ER executive jet.

Here’s a summary of the show in pictures:

Sustainability and the future of air travel was a big theme at this year’s show. Airbus are developing their own future aircraft to meet these needs.
