Following the recent delivery of the first Airbus A350 to wear the Korean Air livery, the airline has now introduced the aircraft to its international network.
Two aircraft have been delivered to Korean Air todate – HL8597 and HL8598.
Both aircraft have been undertaking crew training sorties, as well as some domestic services between Seoul and Jeju.
However, on 27 January the aircraft departed on their first international flights, between Seoul Incheon and both Fukuoka and Osaka Kansai in Japan.

Where Will the Korean Air A350 Fly?
In addition to these initial routes between South Korea and Japan, Korean Air plans to gradually roll out its new Airbus A350 to additional worldwide destinations throughout 2025.
At the time of writing, the following destinations are planned:
- Seoul Incheon – Fukuoka – Ends 1 September 2025
- Seoul Incheon – Osaka Kansai – Ends 31 August 2025
- Seoul Incheon – Taipei Taoyuan – Operates 30 March-31 August 2025
- Seoul Incheon – Madrid – Starts 2 September 2025
- Seoul Incheon – Rome Fiumicino – Starts 1 September 2025

Korean Air A350 Aircraft
Korean Air has 4 more Airbus A350-900s on order, along with 27 A350-1000s for future deliveries.
The aircraft feature 311 seats, split between 28 Business Class and 283 Economy.
The airline is also merging with Asiana Airlines, which has its own fleet of A350-900s.
