It’s December 2021, and here’s our round-up of new airliner deliveries and special liveries flying around in our skies this month.
Airbahn’s First Aircraft
New US low-cost airline Airbahn has received its first aircraft ahead of a 2022 launch. The airline is founded by the founder of Pakistan’s Airblue and features a similar livery. This A320 aircraft, N768PB, previously flew for Airblue.
Brussels Airlines New Livery
Belgium’s Brussels Airlines is undergoing a rebrand. The first aircraft in its new livery is A319 OO-SSO.
Caribbean First MAX
The first Boeing 737 MAX for Caribbean Airways has been delivered. It is 9Y-CAL.
Cebu Pacific A330neo
The first Airbus A330neo for Cebu Pacific of the Philippines has also been delivered. It features an incredible 459 seats in an all-economy layout! Its registration is RP-C3900.
China Airlines A321neo
Taiwan’s China Airlines has received its first narrowbody aircraft – an Airbus A321neo, registration B-18101.
Etihad Anniversary A350
Etihad Airways painted Airbus A350-1000 A6-XWB with special 50th Anniversary of the UAE titles. It appeared at the Dubai Air Show last month.
Luxair Capital of Culture
Luxair’s Boeing 737-800 LX-LBA has been painted in this lively scheme to promote Esch-sur-Alzette, Europe’s capital of culture next year.
Royal Jordanian Retro
Royal Jordanian Airlines has painted its Airbus A321 JY-AYV in a special retro livery depicting former national carrier Alia.
Saudi Government New Livery
A new livery has been painted on Saudi Arabian Governemt Boeing 747-400 HZ-HM1.
Silver Airways Amazon ATR
The first full-livery Amazon Air ATR 72 has appeared. It is operated by Florida’s Silver Airways, and is slightly different to other Amazon Air aircraft liveries. This aircraft is N929AZ.
United Airlines Sustainable Fuel
To mark its commitment to sustainable aviation fuel, United Airlines’ Boeing 737 MAX 8 N77259 has been painted in this special livery.
