New Spanish Carrier UEP Fly Begins Flying

A new Spanish airline has commenced operations using an ATR 72.

UEP Fly is a subsidiary of Swiftair and has been formed by Salvador Moreno, initially flying intra island routes between the Balearic Islands of Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca using ATR72-212A EC-KKQ of Swiftair and using Swiftair’s AOC.
The airline’s aim is to increase connections between Majorca and Menorca by 50% and and Majorca and Ibiza by 28%.
UEP Fly plans to add service to the mainland of Spain in a second phase, and to other European countries in a third phase.
The airline’s first revenue service was on Friday July 16th with service from Ibiza to Palma as flight no WT7770.  The aircraft then operated flight WT7773 from Palma to Mahon ( Menorca ) where it is pictured shortly after arrival.
