OUT NOW! Lost Airline Colours of Asia

by Matt Falcus

Do you miss some of the old airlines and liveries from your earlier days as a spotter? Do you ever see an airline that you’d forgotten about in a book or a film?

Out today is our new book which will send you straight down memory lane to the times of the lost airlines and colour schemes once found all over Asia.

Lost Airline Colours of Asia is a full colour, glossy photograph book by Martyn Cartledge which is packed full of fantastic photographs of these airlines, often flying older jets and prop airliners, and with some great airport scenes and runway action to enjoy.

About the Book

As well as hundreds of colour photographs, this book is also full of interesting histories of the airlines of Asia and the liveries they wore.

The book is ordered by country, covering all of Asia’s countries include the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Far East. Under each country you’ll find details of each former airline, or those which have changed their liveries and photographs to illustrate them.

Some of the airlines still exist today, but you’ll find they have changed a lot over the years.

In many examples, Martyn has also included various special liveries and schemes worn by airlines.
