More information about the initial Singapore Airlines A350 flights is now available.

The first aircraft in the fleet was delivered today, 2nd March.

The airline is planning to start commercial services from 8th March on regional routes. The first long-haul service commences on 9th May.

Here are the initial routes:

  • Singapore – Kuala Lumpur SQ118/119 – Starts 8th March and runs till 8th May
  • Singapore – Amsterdam SQ324/325 – Starts 9th May
  • Singapore – Jakarta SQ956/957 and SQ962/963 – Starts 10th May and runs twice daily
  • Singapore – Dusseldorf SQ337/338 – Starts 21 July

Altogether Singapore Airlines has ordered 67 A350-900s which will be operated on long range flights, as well as on selected regional services. Seven of the aircraft will be delivered with an ultra-long range capability for flights of up to 19 hours, allowing the carrier to resume non-stop flights to the US.
