Southwest Airlines Heart Livery

Southwest Airlines began service at its fourth Los Angeles area airport on 5th June when its first scheduled flight left Long Beach Airport for Oakland.

The airline offers four flights per day on the route, and 60 per day in total between Los Angeles/San Diego and Oakland.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Southwest Airlines to Long Beach,” said Mayor Garcia. “This is an exciting and positive development for our city and the entire region, and one more great reason to fly through Long Beach Airport.”

As yet, no further destinations have been announced by Southwest at Long Beach.
