Sydney Spotting

Spotter-friendly Sydney Airport has closed one of its spotting locations to improve the site for enthusiasts.

Shep’s Mound, off Ross Smith Avenue, closed on 8th June for work to commence on building elevated observation areas and shelter. It is one of the most popular Sydney spotting locations, and is expected to open later in the summer.

The location is at the crossroads of two of the airport’s runways, under the sleek control tower, and with views across to both terminal areas. The new elevated location should enable photographers a better line of sight for photographs of aircraft on the taxiways and runways.

Sydney Airport has a page dedicated to helping spotters and enthusiasts. You can visit the Sydney spotting information here: https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/corporate/sustainability/community/aviation-enthusiasts

Hi, I’d like to introduce my Sydney-Flight-Simulator-Boeing-737-800
Fly-a-Jet-Today MeetUp Group to you. Yes I know that’s a bit of a mouth-full description.

I own a full scale Boeing 737-800 Flight-Simulator located on the Northern Beaches in Mona Vale.
Becoming a Member with 50 plus others & access to the simulator is an enjoyable hobby.

The Sim has been built by two partners over many years & is still under construction though completion is expected very soon.

You are also invited to come & lend a hand if interested, no experience is necessary, any help at all is welcome. If you choose to come and lend a hand you’ll be rewarded with the same time in flight time, being the Captain of the Boeing 737NG

All Members are welcome but this particular offer is only available to a lucky few so if interested you should make contact soon.

Once the simulator is complete further memberships will be closed so don’t delay.

So I invite you all to join our Meetup Group Today & you’ll enjoy the Specials that only members will have access to.
