Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia is gearing up to celebrate a major milestone this October – its 60th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the airline has announced a complete brand refresh, bringing a more contemporary and digitally aligned look to its operations, while staying true to its iconic identity.
What’s the New Look?

A first look at Transavia’s altered branding as an aircraft takes shape in Hamburg.
For aviation enthusiasts and plane spotters, this means a new visual identity to look out for on the airline’s fleet. The updated branding – set to launch in phases starting late October 2025 – features a refined version of Transavia’s familiar logo and green color scheme, which will be applied across its aircraft, website, and digital communications. According to the airline, the green has been subtly updated for a fresher look, and the logo has been tightened up to give a more modern and striking presence.
The first aircraft wearing the updated look is already flying – an Airbus currently at the Hamburg factory now features the redesigned tail logo, giving a first glimpse of what’s to come. The new livery will be rolled out on upcoming Airbus deliveries, particularly the Airbus A321neo, which Transavia is preparing to introduce into its fleet.
Incoming… Retro Livery Aircraft

In a nostalgic twist, the airline recently revealed a special retro livery on one of its upcoming A321neos, PH-YHD, celebrating Transavia’s visual style from its early years. The retro design is a nod to the airline’s roots and offers a unique spotting opportunity for enthusiasts eager to capture something different.
CEO Marcel de Nooijer said the rebranding reflects the need to remain relevant in a changing market, while also acknowledging the legacy and recognition the Transavia brand has built in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.
With new aircraft, new liveries, and a refreshed identity on the horizon, there’s plenty to keep an eye out for as Transavia heads into its seventh decade of operations.
