The Boeing 757 has become increasingly rare, but it remains one of the most exciting aircraft for aviation enthusiasts to spot. With its powerful take-offs, distinctive long fuselage, and iconic RB211 roar, the 757 is still flying in both passenger and cargo service — though you need to know where to look.

Here are the best airports to catch the Boeing 757 in 2025.

Reykjavik Keflavík (KEF), Iceland

Airline: Icelandair
KEF is one of the last true strongholds for the 757. Icelandair continues to operate both the 757-200 on transatlantic and European routes, making Keflavik a guaranteed hotspot for spotters – for now!

New York JFK & Newark (JFK/EWR), USA

Airlines: Delta Air Lines, United Airlines
United still uses the 757 for “thin” transatlantic routes out of Newark, while Delta operates the type from JFK. Spotters can see both -200s and the rarer -300s here, often preparing for long-haul departures.

Atlanta Hartsfield–Jackson (ATL), USA

Airline: Delta Air Lines, FedEx
Delta remains the world’s largest 757 operator, and Atlanta is its primary hub. From domestic flights to Caribbean and South American services, 757s are a common sight at ATL — though fewer than in past years. You’ll also see FedEx 757s here.

East Midlands (EMA), UK

Airlines: Cargo
This major UK cargo airport is a hub for DHL, who fly Boeing 757 freighters through regularly. The familiar yellow-livery aircraft can often be seen parked outside the large DHL building, however movements are usually at night.

London Stansted (STN), UK

Airline: Titan Airways, Cargo
Stansted is the home of charter specialist Titan Airways, which still flies the 757 on ad-hoc VIP and sports team flights. Boeing 757 freighters are also a common sight at Stansted.

Asia Pacific 757 freighter leaving LAX

Honolulu, HI, (HNL), USA

Airlines: United Airlines, Asia Pacific
Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Honolulu Airport sees a good share of Boeing 757 flights. United Airlines sends its aircraft from hubs like Denver, LAX and San Francisco, whilst cargo operator Asia Pacific Airlines flies its 757 freighters in.

Moscow Vnukovo (VNO), Russia

Airlines: Azur Air
Russia’s Azur Air continues to operate 9 Boeing 757-200s on its leisure and domestic services. If you can visit Russia at the moment, this is a good airport to see them flying regularly.

Boeing 757-2Q8(PCF)

Leipzig/Halle (LEJ), Germany

Airline: DHL
Leipzig is DHL’s European hub, and the 757 is a backbone of its cargo network. Spotting here gives enthusiasts the chance to see numerous examples in action, often at night.

Cincinnati (CVG), USA

Airline: DHL, Cargo
CVG is DHL’s main US hub, making it another hotspot for 757 freighters. Evening and overnight waves of departures create excellent opportunities for spotters.
