A new spot to grab coffee has opened in Miami, and it features the fuselage of a classic McDonnell Douglas jet!
Sky Coffee Buenos Aires opened this week at Southwest First Court in the Brickell neighbourhood of Miami, FL and visitors will get to experience a 30-year-old former Delta Air Lines yet as well as great food and drinks.
As well as the serving area and kitchen, the jet features a section of cabin seating and the cockpit of the McDonnell Douglas MD-88 airliner.
It previously flew as N965DL with Delta between 1990 and 2020 before being retired.
Sky Coffee owner Rosana Bentos acquired the forward section of fuselage to turn into her coffee shop. It’s sure to attract aviation fans and coffee lovers alike.
