About the Book
Lost Airline Colours of Asia is a full colour, photographic book packed full of photographs from the author’s archive showing the airlines from across Asia whose livery has changed in some way.
In some cases the livery has changed many times, or there have been special schemes used which no longer exist.
Sadly there are also airlines included which have stopped flying.
The book is ordered by country, and within each you will find entries for all of the airlines which have changed in some way.
There is an interesting history given for each airline, with descriptions of its liveries or the changed in appearance that have been made.
This is a wonderful set of photographic memories of the airlines, colour schemes and aircraft types once worn by Asia’s airlines. You’ll be surprised just how many used to be familiar, and have now been lost.
It is also a useful reference guide to Asia’s airlines, documenting their histories.

Martyn Cartledge is an aviation photographer and journalist with over 40 years’ experience in documenting the changes in aircraft over the decades. His work has appeared in publications around the world.
He recently released the book Flying Firsts, charting the history of many different airliner types and important dates in their history. This book is available now through Destinworld Publishing Ltd.
