Nolinor Aviation has just expanded its remarkable Boeing 737-200 fleet with the acquisition of C-FTWW, strengthening its position as the world’s largest operator of this legendary jetliner. Once part of Chrono Aviation’s lineup, C-FTWW now proudly dons Nolinor’s distinctive livery after a seamless transition and is already back in operational service, flying missions into Canada’s remote northern regions.
Built in 1981 and originally delivered to Air Florida, C‑FTWW brings nearly 45 years of service history to Nolinor’s fleet. The aircraft is now supporting vital combi, cargo, and passenger flights to destinations with gravel, ice, and unpaved runways—scenarios where the rugged 737‑200 remains unmatched for its reliability and flexibility.
Nolinor’s leadership emphasises that the addition of C‑FTWW reflects the airline’s deep-rooted expertise in operating and maintaining these specialized jets. With vertically integrated maintenance facilities across Canada, and the world’s only active 737‑200 full-flight simulator (located in Miami), Nolinor ensures high training standards and exceptional reliability, boasting an average on-time performance of 96%.
Looking ahead, Nolinor is preparing a ninth 737‑200 for re-entry into service this holiday season and plans to acquire another in 2026 to meet growing demand for northern operations.
