Manchester Aviation Viewing Park Launch Multiple Entry Tickets

Manchester Airport’s Aviation Viewing Park now has multiple entry tickets available for those who visit regularly and want to save a bit of money on the entrance fee. The TAS Manchester site has full details.

The tickets come in batches of 25, 50 and 100. These are priced £25, £50 and £100 respectively. I’m sure you can work out that means entrance is therefore reduced to £1 per visit. You can buy tickets from the entrance kiosk, but if you present your TAS membership at the Aviation Shop on site, you’ll get 10% off the ticket cost.

There’s no mention whether the tickets are for pedestrians only, or include car entrance. Perhaps someone could comment if they know.

As a new TAS member I was delighted to see the multi entry ticket just released. So today I spent my lunch hour driving to the AVP with a view to purchase a £25 multi entry ticket and obtain a 10% discount as mentioned above. Upon arrival at the entrance kiosk I was advised by 2 unhelpful men who told me i would have to pay the £5 entrance fee even though i explained i was a new TAS member (showed my TAS membership card) and was on my lunch break and would only be a few minutes, they declined and said I would still have to pay £5. Obviously i decided against it and drove back to work. This is a warning for other TAS members who might have the same idea as I did.
So in reality the £25 multiticket really costs £30 in the eyes of MAN airport/AVP staff who surely could have been a bit more understanding.

The new multi-entry ticket, valid indefinitely, covers car and driver. Passengers are charged an additional £2 each.
