The delivery of the final Boeing 747 ever to be produced is almost upon us.

On 31 January, Boeing will deliver the last Jumbo Jet to customer Atlas Air – a momentous and very sad occasion for fans of the jet.

To mark the event, Boeing will present a live webcast of the ceremony marking the delivery of the final 747 to Atlas Air on Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. Eastern (1 p.m. Pacific, 9 p.m. GMT, 10 p.m. Europe).

The final Boeing 747 is a -8 freighter variant, destined for Atlas Air. It has registration N863GT and wears Apeg Logistics titles alongside the Atlas Air livery.
